This game centers around the question of transitional justice in the formerly totalitarian state of Carillia, where the old regime committed abuse of democratic freedom rights as well as human rights. So far, the way in which the past will be dealt with remains open. The new government of Carillia has invited perpetrators and victims to open talks, in order to discuss how to deal with the dark chapter of the past and how, on a mid-term basis, peace and reconciliation can be promoted.
This game has been developed in cooperation with participants of seminar hosted by Humanity in Action. It will soon be available to download on www.humanityinaction.org.
