This seminar challenges the participants' team building competencies in an innovative way – by producing a short film. The aim is to train key competencies of effective team building in a challenging and fun way.

Before the groups begin work on the film, the seminar will provide the theoretical basis of effective team building. Based on the broad literature on this issue we will include instruction and reflection on essential features of successful team building: Understanding each team member’s individual skills, defining clear and realistic goals, communicating effectively, as well as managing conflicts within the group. Other aspects of successful teamwork to be discussed include: openness, supportiveness, and personal style.
